2012 TRI-C KARTERS CLUB MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

  • Season points start being awarded from the date the membership application is received. If an application is received on race day, then the application must have been received prior to the race day's drivers' meeting to be awarded that race day's points. No points will be awarded for any race(s) prior to the date of receiving any application. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Save money on entry fees each time you race with the Tri-C Karters Kart Club.
  • Get a $5 discount at CalSpeed on open practice the Friday before the race.
  • Receive drivers choice of trophies or gift card for approved finishing order at the end of the race day.
  • Earn season points towards year end championship. Race 6 rule is required; i.e. member driver must have earned race points in six (6) club races during the season. 
  • Receive year end championship banquet trophies, driver prizes, and cash for sponsored race classes.
  • Receive Tri-C karters Club's monthly newsletter via Email.

Membership Fees for 2012
For 2012 the club will follow a similar membership program established by IKF.  Tri-C Karters membership must be by a person 18 years of age or older.  All drivers that are minors (under the age of 18 years of age) must be signed up as a family member by a parent or legal guardian. Only minors may sign up as a family member.

Family Membership $10 each

Race Day Entry Fee Structure for 2012
Member Pre-entry $80 (1st class)
All 2nd Class Entry $50 (Members get 2nd class free)
Member race day entry $85
Non-Member Entry $95
Transponder Rental $10 per class (Mandatory, unless you have your own
AMB transponder)
Pit Pass $10 (non-driver, All persons must have a pit pass)

The maximum amount of 5 trophies will be awarded per race class per race date.

Members and non-members are eligible for trophies/plaques.

The awards will be presented at the conclusion of the race day. 

Note: Any trophies/plaques not picked up on race day will be stored in the Tri-C storage locker and will be available for six months. Any trophies not picked up after six (6) months will be recycled.
Race Day Awards Program
The club will be offering drivers a choice of race day awards. Drivers have the option of receiving a trophy or a Gift card. Gift cards may be redeemed for purchases from our sponsors, or they may be applied to future race entries.  Gift cards will be issued in amounts according to the following formula:
  • First place $30.00
  • Second Place $25.00
  • Third Place $20.00
  • Fourth Place $15.00
  • Fifth Place $10.00

Trophies or gift cards will be awarded according to IKF rules - 1 for 3 racers, 2 for 5 racers, 3 for 7 racers, 4 for 9 racers and 5 for 11 or more racers.  This program is OPTIONAL. Drivers have the option of a trophy OR a gift card.
